It actually said that I would split my time between Priory and the garden but, in reality, the majority of our time has been spent outdoors.

With the weather being dry and warming (with the exception of this weekend’s arctic blast) things are starting to spring to life in the garden not least the lawn. Having had a number of sycamores felled last autumn and left on the lawn, we needed to clear them up to allow the grass to recover and have a fighting chance of being a lawn when we can welcome guests again.

<img decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-4790 aligncenter lazyload" data-src="https://www.kergudon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Sycamores-to-shred-300x200.jpg" alt="" src="data:image/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==" style="--smush-placeholder-width: 300px; eventually we should be self-sufficient for wood for a couple of winters.

<img decoding="async" class="alignleft wp-image-4792 lazyload" data-src="https://www.kergudon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Chamingnons-mulched-1-300x216.jpg" alt="" width="268" height="193" src="data:image/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==" style="--smush-placeholder-width: 268px;
