The Smell of Progress"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Where has this week gone?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of <a href=\"https:\/\/kergudon.com\/fr\/sunday-24-april-a-night-well-weekend-on-the-tiles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">last week\u2019s blog<\/a> I had said that we should be able to make some additional great leaps forward in Granary this week.\u00a0 Looking back, we have certainly made progress but can I say there have been great leaps?\u00a0 Perhaps not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we have continued with putting things on walls rather than taking them off so that is progress and, as some of that has been some pretty aromatic paint, at least we feel we are heading in the right direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In last week\u2019s picture of the Granary bathroom, you could see that the new tiles hadn\u2019t been grouted and there was still no ceiling.\u00a0 Thankfully, this week both have been done and I have got a couple of coats of paint on the ceiling as well in preparation for our sparky coming back next week to fit the lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.kergudon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Granary-bathroom-ceiling-replaced.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6760 lazyload\" width=\"394\" height=\"296\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/kergudon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Granary-bathroom-ceiling-replaced.jpg 640w, https:\/\/kergudon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Granary-bathroom-ceiling-replaced-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kergudon.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Granary-bathroom-ceiling-replaced-16x12.jpg 16w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 394px; Again, a small problem best avoided but should only require a little filling, addition of some mosaic tiles and all will be good to paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I did mention last week that I hoped to make progress installing the kitchen, and I have.&nbsp;
