Facilities and Services at Kergudon Gites de France in Britany
Family Games Room
For kids, both large and small, the ‘Salle Des Jeux’ is located above the garage and available for all our guests. It is the perfect space to spend some time as a family on the rare occasions the weather isn't perfect(!)
The family games room and cinema were added to Kergudon's additional facilities in 2018. In it you will find a pool table, table football and electronic dart board (safety darts) along with board games and boules for the boules pitch. It would not be a gîte de France in Brittany without a petanque pitch!
The games room is also equipped with a projector and screen so it can be used as a private cinema and reserved for a family film night during your holiday. We have a collection of DVD and Blu-ray discs to choose from or, if you have a particular favourite, feel free to bring your own family favourites on your self catering holidays in Brittany.
- Please note that we only have a limited selection of PG and U rated DVD’s. Because we want everyone to have fun, please bring your own kids' favourites for younger children.
- There is currently no WiFi or internet in the games room so please be advised that you cannot use streaming services. If you have a film downloaded to a device with an HDMI connection we can play that for you.
Boot Room & Laundry
The boot room at Kergudon gîtes in Brittany France is housed in the old dairy.
In it you will find a selection of Aigle welly boots in a variety of adult sizes. The boots are available for guests to borrow with our compliments for walks in the woods and around the Monts d’Arrée.
Also in the boot room guests have access to a pay-as-you-use washing machine and tumble dryer, a fishing rod storage rack and a coat rack for hanging and drying wet walking gear.
The boot room at Kergudon is one of the facilities that sets us apart from other gites in Brittany France.
Boules Pitch
Pétanque, also known as boules, and is an extremely popular game throughout France and especially Brittany. The pétanque pitch at Kergudon Gîtes, situated opposite the garage, provides a wonderful opportunity to get the whole family involved together and create some special memories during your holiday in our French Country Cottages. A game of pétanque with (or without) an apéro in the long summer evening is a truly French experience.
The Bike Shed at Kergudon Gites in Brittany France
Equipped with six mountain bikes (four adult and two child sizes) guests at Kergudon Gîtes in Brittany France are welcome to use our bikes to explore the wonderful forests and trails in and around the Monts d'Arrée; Mountain Biking in Brittany.
** Please note that because we cannot guarantee the integrity of cycle helmets we do not provide these. Please therefore bring your own safety equipment.**
